We have all planned, bought food and waited for people to arrive.  Here is what I have noticed has increased my response rate.

Bloomington restaurants = Northstar Tavern

The restaurants in Bloomington MN are lacking and in this case food.  In recent articles I was pretty worked up about the fact that we are a foodie desert.  The need is so high for quality restaurants that the Northstar Restaurant opened last week and they RAN OUT OF FOOD!  Yes, they had such a positive response to their business that they didn't have enough for Sunday.  Joyful Bloomington residents went running, biking and walking to get to Northstar and happily waited for 45 minutes to an hour  for dinner at 9:30 PM on Friday 10/26/18.   We went there and it was full so Dan and I bellied up to the bar and enjoyed adult beverages, appetizers and a dinner.  It was a lot of fun, we met new people at the bar and we met the owners.  They are darling!  (I can say that I am a more mature adult and they are a young cute couple that own it.)


They were full all day Saturday and by the time they realized it they could not get a shipment in on time.  You might think this is a good problem in the sense that they were popular, on the other side it was a curse since they were planning for the Viking game group.

As residents of Bloomington, continually pursue and support better restaurants and better walkability to all our stores, libraries and schools.  Ultimately, these improvements will enhance our neighborhoods and ultimately our housing prices.
